"I'm rolling with the big ten this week. Iowa is sucking all the bad out of the conference, the other teams will have a boost in success because Iowa is hogging all the non-success."

Jake

"I'm still just mad that Houston keeps doing the exact opposite of what I pick them to do. We better not have them on these picks anymore. Anyways, this is a weird week of football in terms of matchups. We'll learn a lot about the third tier of college football this year. None of the major playoff contenders have much of a challenge this week, but there's plenty of intrigue in the next tier. Teams with a LOT on the line: BYU, Texas A&M, and, a bit of an eyebrow-raiser: Mississippi State. These are teams that could stake (or re-stake after an abominable prior week, in A&M's case) their claim as a top-10 teams heading out of the first quarter of the season. There's plenty of uncertainty outside of the top six or seven teams in CFB, and this week is a big opportunity for the next 20-ish teams to jockey for national attention."

Each Expert's Picks Record So Far This Season:

Taylor: 15-5

Josh: 14-6

Jake: 10-10

Will: 4-16 (no ballot submitted Week 1)
