There's a new dynasty in the NBA. With news breaking minutes ago that the Bulls had inked former Lakers centerpiece Alex Caruso to a 4-year deal, sources say that the 2022 Larry O'Brien Trophy is already on the way to the United Center. With the addition of a league-altering talent in Caruso along with new acquisition Lonzo Ball to a promising young roster, the rest of the NBA outside of Chicago is likely to shift into rebuilding mode for the foreseeable future in an attempt to give their franchises the most advantageous position after the current core of players in Chicago breaks up. Complaints about competitive balance and parity within the league are already circulating, but all signs point to the transaction being allowed by commissioner Adam Silver at this point. Vegas oddsmakers have set the number of championships Chicago is expected to win over the next four years at 3.5. Chicago finally has the player to fill the shoes left by Michael Jordan over twenty years ago.
