"Cogito Ergo Cogito" is a phrase derived from Latin, a language I spent two years studying during my undergraduate years at the University of Iowa. Constructed as a spoof of French philosopher Rene Descartes' famed musing "Cogito Ergo Sum" or "I think, therefore I am", "Cogito Ergo Cogito" simply means "I think, therefore I think". Framing a redundant, blatantly obvious statement within a seemingly philosophical foreign language is one of my ways of saying that I try not to take myself too seriously. I'm not attempting to overwhelm and awe anyone and everyone who happens to visit the site with towering intellect. I just like to think about things from time to time.

Hopefully some of the things I think about have some value to you. If not, feel free to let me know in the comments, like all of my posts, and share my blog on your social media pages.
