We've been talking a lot about sports lately, so we decided it might be time to start a new series that covers anything and everything else: the Weekly Deep-Dive. This first edition opens with Jake, Taylor, and Josh talking about their past week (1:25) before starting a Deep-Dive into this week's topic: The Office(US) television series (17:15). The group shares some of their favorite and least favorite things about the show in general (33:40) before doing a rapid-fire segment of "Complaint Box" (58:30). They each try (some more than others) to name their favorite episode from the show (1:07:50) and then transition into awarding a prestigious Deep-Dive Podcast honor for acting: The Cogito Numero Uno Award (1:14:45). The trio gets some outside input from Will to assign an appropriate "8 Thumbs Up" rating for the show (1:29:10). As always, the show wraps up with a round of non-sports Two Takes (1:35:50).

Oregon vs. Utah

Western Kentucky vs. UTSA

Oklahoma State vs. Baylor

Kent State vs. Northern Illinois

Utah State vs. San Diego State

Appalachian State vs. Louisiana

Georgia vs. Alabama

Houston vs. Cincinnati

Pittsburgh vs. Wake Forest

Iowa vs. Michigan

What The Experts Are Saying About Their Picks

(Expert's pick in blue)

About Alabama versus Georgia:

"Georgia hasn’t had much competition this year, and Bama gives them some trouble early. Kirby Smart gets the team together at halftime and Georgia cruises."

About Houston versus Cincinnati:

"Cincinnati does just enough to get the W, and the early year win against fellow CFP contender Notre Dame gives them the edge to sneak into the CFP. They will promptly be destroyed by their opponent, but hey, they made it."

About Utah versus Oregon:

"Oregon, there's no way a team called the Utes can win this matchup twice."

About Iowa versus Michigan:

"Just insert this picture for me: I know who I think will win and know who I want to win but I'm not picking because I don't want to be the cause of a certain team losing."

About Wake Forest versus Pittsburgh:

"Wake's great season ends on a sour note. Kenny Pickett stamps his ticket to New York as a legit Heisman contender. We're rooting for big points in this one."

About Northern Illinois versus Kent State:

"Roll Flashes. KSU's win gives Iowa a resume-defining win from earlier in the year and will help the Hawks secure a bid in yet another New Year's Day bowl in Florida (likely the Citrus Bowl)."

About Oklahoma State versus Baylor:

"Oklahoma State 17, Baylor 23. Baylor sneaks out the win on a last-second goal line stand following a missed extra point on the go-ahead touchdown with 1:55 to go. A great game overall, but the better team wins in the end."

About Michigan versus Iowa:

"Iowa 31, Michigan 0. A complete and utter dismantling of the high-flying Wolverines in a way no one would ever expect (522 Iowa offensive yards) lands the Hawkeyes in legitimate consideration for the final spot in the College Football Playoff."
