Meet the Author: Taylor

Hello! Jake, the creator of Cogito Ergo Cogito and also my wonderful husband, recently decided to expand the blog and invite a few new authors to contribute articles to Cogito Ergo Cogito. Very kindly, he extended an invite to me! In this article I'll tell you a little bit about myself and the content I'll likely post.

As stated above, I'm Taylor! You may have seen me mentioned in various posts around the blog chronicling Jake and I's adventures but here's a little more info about me: I grew up in a small Iowa town and went to college in Iowa City at the University of Iowa, where Jake and I met. We have been married for about two and a half years and we recently moved to the big city of Council Bluffs, Iowa/Omaha, Nebraska. I am currently in nursing school, though I'll be finished (finally!) in May. I enjoy being active, cooking, learning new things, and spending lots of time in nature!

As of right now, I intend to post about recipes, more of our adventures, what life is like as a nursing student, and pop culture or takes on what is going on in the world. I'll likely expand the list and incorporate lots of different topics, but I probably won't be the greatest source for sports takes (see Jake for that). I consider myself a very conversational writer, so if you enjoy light reads that feel like talking with an old friend, I hope you'll find my articles interesting and engaging! I'll be writing under the name Mrs. Cogito as I feel like it will give any new readers an instant idea of who I am and what I'll likely write about without having to search out this post!
